Amista has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This page sets out what we do about it, how to report it and who is responsible for it. The Amista app is operated by Fellow Labs s. r. o., IČO 57 844 062, which is its developer on both Google Play and the App Store.
Our standards
- Any sexual content involving a minor, grooming, and attempts to arrange contact with a minor for a sexual purpose are prohibited (rule 2). An appeal is possible, but the content stays hidden during review and we will not restore it once the violation is confirmed.
- Amista is for people aged 16 and over. Everyone gives their year of birth when signing up; we block and delete accounts that we find belong to anyone younger.
- A post, event, comment, chat message or photo reported with the reason Sexual content involving a minor is hidden the moment the report is submitted and placed under a legal hold so that it cannot be deleted — not even if its author deletes it or their account. A person reviews it ahead of all other reports. A reported profile or community is also reviewed as a priority. The exception to immediate hiding is reports from users we have flagged for misusing reporting (terms, Article 7.3); we still see and review those too.
- We preserve the evidence. Where we suspect a criminal offence involving a threat to the life or safety of a person, in particular the sexual abuse of a child, we report it to law enforcement authorities without delay (Art. 18 DSA). While the legal hold protects the evidence, neither the author nor any other user can delete it; we keep it for as long as an investigation or cooperation with the authorities requires, and until then we postpone the deletion of such an account or community.
- Once the violation is confirmed, we permanently suspend the account behind it.
How to report
In the app: on the message, photo, post, comment, event or profile, choose Report → Sexual content involving a minor. A community is reported by its members from its menu. A specific message or photo is better evidence than a profile.
Outside the app, without an account, or if you can't sign in: the form at amista.app/support (topic “Safety, minors or illegal content”) or safety@amista.app. Include a link or the username and what you saw. Do not send the material itself.
If a child is in immediate danger, call the police: 158 in Slovakia, 112 anywhere in the EU. The Slovak hotline for reporting child abuse material online is stopline.sk (a member of INHOPE).
Designated point of contact
Our child safety point of contact, who receives these reports and notices from authorities: Andrej Vereš, managing director (konateľ) of Fellow Labs s. r. o., safety@amista.app.
Compliance
These standards are based on the Google Play Child Safety Standards policy, Apple's App Store Review Guidelines (1.2, Safety) and the laws in force in Slovakia and the EU, including the Digital Services Act (DSA). We review them at least once a year.
